Not so long ago, the manga, Alive: Final Evolution, finally finished! And it really is a spectacular manga, the character development, humor, and art style is phenomenal to say the least. It's pretty shonen-ish, has arcs and such, but gah, it is probably my favorite shounen. Well,
Here's the summary; A strange virus is making its way around the globe, causing its victims to commit suicide. In less than a week, it's become a lethal pandemic. But for a unique few, it does just the opposite... They evolve and become "Power Users."

The thing is the mangaka finished struggled to finish this manga on his deathbed, as his last piece of work. The last chapter then, can largely be seen as his last words. It's very, surreal, I'm not quite sure how to phrase it.
But either way, it's wonderful. RIP Kawashima Tadashi. It's awe-inspiring to see someone stick with something they're passionate about till they die, and it's incredible that he managed to deliver it.
